These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WBuilds for Building Guide mobile application ("App") created by Sagar Khurana, operating as Indie Developer Luck. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using WBuilds, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
WBuilds is a reference application that provides step-by-step building tutorials and guides for Minecraft. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or any Minecraft franchise rights holders.
You must be at least 13 years old to use WBuilds. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
The service provider retains all rights to the application, including its design, code, trademarks, and copyrights. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative versions of the App without written permission.
All screenshots, tutorial images, and UI elements within WBuilds are proprietary. You may not reproduce or redistribute these materials without written permission, even if the underlying build concepts exist elsewhere in the Minecraft community.
WBuilds is a tutorial reference for Minecraft, a sandbox game whose visual vocabulary is shared by millions of players and creators. The vast majority of builds in the App belong to long-established community patterns — for example, starter houses in different biomes, lamp posts, picnic tables, fountains, horse stables, swing chairs, small docks, pergolas, storage huts, or enchanting rooms. These are categories, themes, and functional objects, not protected creative works, and they have been independently recreated by thousands of players, YouTubers, TikTokers, and forum users since at least 2011.
Ownership cannot be asserted over a Minecraft build at the level of category, function, biome, theme, or general layout. No one owns the idea of a starter house, the concept of a fountain, or the convention of a particular roof slope. Ownership claims are only meaningful when a build in WBuilds demonstrably reproduces uniquely original creative expression from a specific, identifiable source — distinctive block selection, an unusual layout, ornamentation, or other choices a reasonable observer would not arrive at independently.
Many designs covered in WBuilds appear across hundreds of independent uploads on YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, PlanetMinecraft, and the Minecraft Forum, often predating any single creator's upload. If multiple creators have published versions of the same design, that fact is itself evidence that the design is a community pattern rather than the original work of any one person. WBuilds does not arbitrate disputes between creators; we evaluate whether a claim meets the standard described in Section 6A, and nothing more.
Removal is reserved for the narrow case where a build is genuinely distinctive and the evidence of original authorship is strong. If a claim rests only on similarity at the level of category, function, biome, or theme, it will not be processed. Credit additions are handled separately and have a lower threshold, as described in Section 6A.
Ownership claims and credit requests should be sent to indiecreatorluck@gmail.com. Before submitting, please conduct your own comparison research first. Most builds you see in WBuilds already exist in many forms across the wider Minecraft community, and a brief search on YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, PlanetMinecraft, or the Minecraft Forum will usually show that the design is a shared pattern rather than original to one creator. Submissions that do not reflect this initial research will be returned without action.
Each build you wish to claim must be submitted on its own. Bulk claims that group multiple builds under a single block of evidence will not be processed, regardless of how many builds are listed. For each build, please include the following:
Credit additions are handled with a lower bar than removals. If you can show on reasonable evidence that a build in WBuilds is closely tied to your public work, we are happy to add a credit. Removal, however, requires the full per-build verification above, because it alters the App for every user and cannot be reversed casually.
Tone has no bearing on the verification standard. Threats, urgency, deadlines, or legal-style framing in claim emails will not change the evidence required, accelerate review, or substitute for the materials listed above. All good-faith requests will be reviewed in due course.
When evaluating a claim, WBuilds reserves the right to consult public sources — including other tutorials, forum threads, wiki entries, and community archives — to determine whether the design in question is a shared community pattern. If public evidence shows that the design predates the claimant's upload or appears widely across independent creators, the claim will be declined.
Claims made in bad faith will be set aside. Examples include asserting ownership over builds the claimant has themselves credited to another creator, asserting ownership over wiki-documented or convention-level patterns, or submitting category-level similarity as if it were evidence of copying. Where bad-faith claims are observed, further submissions from the same party may be declined without individual review.
WBuilds operates on a freemium model with optional paid premium features available through Google Play or Apple App Store, managed by RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by the respective app store platforms.
Third-party advertisements appear throughout the free version of the App. Premium subscriptions remove all advertisements. You can manage your ad preferences through your device settings and the in-app consent dialog.
